spending christmas near the manger

Nativity

My dear friend Katie made this incredible Nativity for my mom (thereby making it impossible for me to give a better gift!). It will be treasured by our family for a long, long time. Not just because it's so very cute. Not just because it's so beautifully made. Not just because it's so thoughtful.

Because this is where we spend Christmas.

Near the manger. Near Jesus. And better than anything, Jesus spends Christmas and every day near to us.

May your Christmas be filled with the incredible blessing of God's presence, through Jesus.

Hi Mollie, Thank-you so much for your ideas on simple crafts. I realized tonight while at this site, that I may be breaking your rules. I had saved three of your felt patterns for my Sunday School class. We did the smiling light bulbs last Sunday. We are going to do the Baby Jesus one this week. Either I supply all the materials needed or the church helps me with supplies. I receive NO monies for doing the class or the crafts with the children. May I continue doing this with my "kids" on Sundays? May I use some of your ideas with our "Children's Parties" for the craft time? Again, we are not paid for doing these parties, we do accept donation monies to cover costs of the parties for food and supplies. Are these acceptable to you? Thanks for taking time to go through this long comment.

    1. You are not breaking any rules! All of my patterns and projects can now be used for personal, non-profit, and small business sewing/crafting/stitching/making. I do ask that printables not be sold without permission.

I LOVE when my ideas are used in Sunday School classes and other things like this. I have such a heart for children's ministry, so please please please use what you need for your class! And if you are ever looking for more resources, let me know!

May you be blessed with the presence of God as you minister to His children!
