  1. Tomorrow my husband goes in to find out if he needs open heart surgery. Please pray that it is only medication needed and not surgery. We are not sure how much damage his heart has so we are looking at both extremes.

  7. I am posting this late for the week, and early for next week, but my five year old daughter is having tonsil surgery on Monday, August 6th. I've been praying for her for a healthy and safe procedure, and I'm most concerned that she'll be in pain. Thank you for your prayers, and I pray for all those who have posted here along with me. Mollie, I appreciate you doing this!

    1. Melissa, I will start praying for your daughter right now, and I'll continue through Monday and beyond. I know that things like this can take time to heal and it's not a fun process, but I know that God will be holding your little one the entire time!

    2. Hi Mollie, Thank you for your prayers...My daughter's surgery was cancelled. My husband went to take my son to my parents' house, and while I went upstairs, to get felt of all things, for her Angry Birds finger puppets (what I was going to work on while she was in surgery), she drank an apple juice box. I firmly believe her guardian angel was looking over her, because at least I knew that she drank the apple juice box so we could cancel the surgery. I will ask for your prayers once again once it's rescheduled, but at this point, it may be next summer. Thank you.

Please pray for me. It's been a difficult, stressful week and now I am expecting a phone call which will be even more stressful. Please pray that the relationship represented by this call will be restored and that the animosity the caller has for me will be removed. Pray that friendship will be restore and that God will be glorified through this. Thanks.

Please pray for healing between by son and his ex-wife. Decisions must be made for their children which requires compromise between them. He has custody and the final decision is his, but both know the children need Mom and Dad to be in agreement. Thank you. Regena in TN.

  12. I had surgery done in July for recurring endometriosis and pelvic pain. This was my sixth surgery and I was praying that it would be successful and that it would be pain free for the first time in seven years. This disease causes me to be in pain 24/7, which makes pain meds a must (I am sooo sick of taking them!). Every part of my life has been negatively affected. I force myself to go to work, but then I wind up in bed all weekend. So much of my life has just passed me by. I have asked God for healing since this began. He said he would not give us more than we can bear, but I must admit, it is almost there! Please keep me & my family in your prayers and ask for a miracle!
    Thank you,
    Nancy M.

  13. Dear Mollie, please please pray for my dear friend who has been trying for a baby for such a long time and has just had another miscarriage. We need prayers, many prayers from people with kind hearts who believe in the power of the Lord. Thank you so so much!

  14. Mollie: Please pray for the family and all the friends of Kathreen Ricketson and Rob Shugg. The internet sometimes isolates us as much as it connects us - I'm sure there are many other people (just like me) who lurk on craft sites and don't engage. Dealing with the loss of an online friend can be very difficult, especially if no one else in your family/social circle understands how easy it is to get attached to people online. They understand the loss but not the depth of it.

  22. Please pray for my son who is a high school senior that God will show him a clear direction for the future. He's having a tough time deciding where to go to college and is dragging his heels in regards to making a decision. He's a very responsible kid and he doesn't want to make a mistake. I just think he is feeling a little overwhelmed. Pray for wisdom, patience and peace in the college decision process and the rest of his Senior year of high school.

    1. Pausing to pray right now. I know that God has a plan for you, because He is good and I believe He wants good for you.

And speaking as part of a home that has been blessed by adoption, if you would like to learn more about low-cost options, please send me an email.
