Werewolf Pattern

If I know you, then I know that you've just been dying to stitch a trick-or-treating werewolf. Okay, so maybe not, but I do hope you consider it, at least. Because this month's pattern has this sweet little guy who is hoping for some candy, and not just the embroidered kind.

In the downloadable PDF, you'll find the large hexagon that you see here, plus a smaller version of just my little werewolf friend.

Oh, and last month I decided to try something fun on Instagram, and thought I'd open it up to everyone this time around. I'd love it if you stitch this little guy and share a photo. Post it somewhere online (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, your blog...anywhere! Just make sure it's public so I can see.), and leave a link to your post here in the comments.

Then, I'll choose a few throughout the month and gift the stitcher with a free pattern from my shop! You have until the next pattern comes out, which will be early in November.

Here's one of the finished pieces from the last pattern. Heather stitched the flying squirrel (he's purple!), then made it into a little hexagon zip pouch! Awesome! She used this pouch tutorial and simply enlarged it to fit the embroidery. Such a fun way to use these hexagonal designs!

I've got a fun idea to try out using the werewolf pattern...in a big way! Stay tuned for that...
