getting kitschy this christmas

Kitschy Christmas Snow Globe Pattern

I've mentioned that it's getting Christmasy around here, and I submit this as proof: Christmas embroidery that I recently created as part of this year's Christmas collection, which I'm calling Kitschy Christmas! Everything is in vintage colors and motifs, and I was definitely inspired by the pretty palettes you see at Kitschy Digitals. Speaking of which, the Kitschy Digitals Handmade Holiday Gift Guide is now available!

My other new items are still in the works, but this pattern is available now for you to get a jump on your holiday stitching. And the best part is... it's free for you! You'll just have to do a little looking to find it. Why? Because this is one of 12 hidden freebies in the Handmade Holiday Gift Guide! I won't tell you exactly where this one is hidden, but I will let you know it's on a happy page!

UPDATE: If you downloaded the file and the PDF pattern wasn't showing up correctly in the zipped file, it has now been corrected. Sorry for any inconvenience!

Sweet Gingerbread Scene Playset Pattern // Wild Olive

While you're thinking about starting on some Christmas stitching (you were thinking about that, right?), be sure to check out my Sweet Gingerbread Scene Playset Pattern. It would be a fun gift for a child, or something they would enjoy during the entire month of December. But you'll want to get a jump on it soon! Find it on Kitschy Digitals or Etsy.

And don't start thinking that I'm skipping over all the good fall stuff around here. This is just an early reminder. Oh, and just wait until you see the next pattern I'm working on with some super delicious felt. Okay, so there will be more early Christmas coming...but only just enough!

  2. Hi Mollie -

Thanks so much for the free pattern - I love it! I did find it in the Gift guide and downloaded the zip file, but I'm not seeing the actual pattern. I see your directions and color suggestions, but no pattern? I'm sure it's right here in front of my face somewhere! :) Thanks for your help!

  16. I really love your Christmas snow globe pattern! I'm not able to download the pattern from the digital gift guide, though (as the link in the pdf is no longer active). Is there any chance I could still get the pattern somehow? Thank you!
