Working

Over on My Paper Crane, Heidi Kenney shares what she calls, Working Wednesdays, showing some of the things that she's been working on behind the scenes. I love posts like that on blogs...getting to see what other people are doing and what their process looks like is fun!

Here's a peek at two projects that have been coming together in the last week:

Above are some digital washi tape patterns that I've been working on. They are based on the real deal, and are finding their way into some little designs which are part of something I've made for 30 Days of Lists. (See my post about it here!) Right now, there are no plans to release these...they're going to be exclusive to Listers!

Coming soon to the shop will be these guys...Sock Monkeys! I'm really quite smitten with them. Really.

Both of these came together quickly from start to finish, which is usually a sign that I'm excited about them! Although, to be perfectly honest, sometimes it means that I waited and waited and put off coming up with an idea until the last minute when I really need it. But I suppose I'm not the only one who does that?

What program do you use to make the images and patterns?

  2. I was just about to ask the same thing!! I have Photoshop, but it doesn't look like that's what you use.

  3. I use Adobe Illustrator for my illustrations. Inkscape is a free software that is similar to this.
