pattern: the lovers, the dreamers & me

The Lovers, the Dreamers and Me!

Well, this is the last day of Lyrical Lettering! I hope you've enjoyed these embroidery patterns with some of my favorite songs.

Today's lyric is from The Muppets, and it seemed a good way to end the week. The song Rainbow Connection is classic, full of hope, a little melancholy, and most of all, sweetness. Sing along with Kermit on this YouTube video.

Thanks to Amanda, who stitched this pattern, and thanks to everyone who's been checking in for Lyrical Lettering patterns all week! Remember, if you stitch up any of the patterns from my blog, you can add pics to Flickr, or send me a link and I may add you to my Pinterest board!

  7. Such a cute design. I used to sing this song to my babies when I put them down to sleep, now they are 7 and 9. Stitching this up would be a great reminder of that happy memory.

  9. Aw, you saved the best song for last!

This was a great idea, and I have enjoyed seeing all the stitchy goodness. I did something similar, but with ATCs: http://janalynmarie.blogspot.com/2010/05/small-wonders.html

so i learnt embroidery last term and decided to go on an embroidery binge . i finished this piece yesterday!it looks great for a 14 yr old effort if i do say so myself. but it probably has to do with the fact that you explained it so clearly so i understood.
    thanks!

  13. Embroidering may also use other components such as steel pieces, pearl jewelry, drops, quills, and sequins. Stitching devices can be used to make device embroidery.
