stitch swapping

This is a little something that I've been stitching for someone special this week. We had someone who needed to drop out of the stitch swap, so I jumped in and took their place.

Speaking of the Stitch Swap, if you signed up back in March, I need your attention for a moment!

There are still some folks who haven't received their piece yet. If you signed up, and haven't yet stitched or mailed something, I'd love it if you could still try to do that. Better late than never!

Life happens though, so if people aren't able to complete the stitch swapping circle, I had an idea. Perhaps there are a few of you who would consider stitching something extra and mailing to someone who never ended up receiving a hoop. You wouldn't be getting another hoop, it would just be a gift mailed to a stranger.

If you are interested in helping out, send an email to mollie.wildolive at gmail dot com.

I'm only asking because I know that this blog has a really awesome community of readers who genuinely care about each other. You have no idea how much that means to me!

So, I read the first paragraph of this and sent you an email offering to stitch and send something. Then I came back here and read the whole post.

*facepalm* So yeah. Sign me up.

  4. Mollie,

I'm not sure that my partner received hers. It was sent a month ago and I've emailed her but with no response. Not sure what to do next.

    1. Since I haven't heard anything from her about not receiving it, we'll assume that she got it and just maybe missed your email.

  5. I'm in the same situation as Heather. I did send mine a little late, but had emailed my partner to let her know it was on its way. It should be there by now. I haven't heard if she has received it and have not had a reply to my email to her.

  8. I know I'm late in responding, but I wouldn't mind stitching up another hoop. I haven't received one in the mail...sniffle sniffle... so I know how it feels.

I still haven't heard anything of my swap partner, unfortunately... Is there a way to get her email address?
