friendship week: printable friendship cards

Friendship Card

Recently I decided to delete my Facebook account. It wasn't a big deal to me, and I'm happy that it's one less thing to have in my life (of course, Twitter has sucked me in now). One of the funny things I always hesitated about Facebook is the friend request. I felt like a kid passing a note that said:

"Will you be my friend? Check yes or no."

And this was with people I'd known for months! Well, now you can ask people to be your friend the old fashioned way...in print.

These two color options print 2-up on a page, so just print them at 100% on card stock, then cut them in half and fold. They'll fit in invitation-size envelopes.

And even if you are just wanting to stay friends (or apologize and be friends again?), this would be a fun way to say hello.

  1. I follow you via GFC (and use Google Reader)...just as a FYI when I tried to click on your post about friendship bracelets it won't take me to any of the photos linked or to the post on your page...thought maybe you would want to know that!

Anyway, it was a great post and it got me thinking that maybe DMC thread would have something fun up about friendship bracelets...and found this:

Pretty cool stuff and thought you may enjoy it as well!

    Luv your blog and projects!

  2. I deleted my FB account two months ago! Best decision ever. :) Twitter and pinterest have done the same thing to me, though! Love the cards. I think I'll print one off for my husband. :)

  3. Hi Ayla Rose! Thanks for the DMC link.

What you saw was a post that is coming this afternoon. It published instead of being scheduled, so when I fixed it, the post temporarily disappeared. It will be back soon!

  6. Oh this is so awesome! I just deleted my Facebook like 4 days ago too! What a perfect solution. Also, there is a local church sign that currently says, "Jesus accepts all friend requests." !!! So silly.
