You may have already found these by now, but in case you haven't, head on over to DMC Threads. I had the honor of designing four cupcake embroidery patterns for them, and I do mean honor. When they asked me to do this I was soooo star struck. Anyway, you can download all four designs right in the middle of the post. (The link says "directions", but it has the PDF.)

  1. ooh well done!! Those are really cute! :)

  2. that is so utterly adorable

  3. Thanks so much for these - cupcakes rock! I found your blog via the DMC project, and I love your work! I'll be letting my podcast listeners know about you in my next episode!

  4. Thanks for the cute designs! I can't wait to stitch them up and put them in my craft room.

  5. thanks so much - on my way over there right now... perfect for a birthday gift that I need soon!! I think that I am going to make a journal cover for a baker freind - the best of both hobbies dont you think?!?!

  6. I really enjoyed embroidering this cute cupcake (with the cherry).
thank you for the great pattern.
Here is my version if you are interested:
I used seed beads for the sprinkles.
    thanks again

  7. Hi Mollie,

I love your embroideries! I am really struggling to download your free template pattern for the cupcakes. Is there any easier way to download them? I am not having any luck clicking on the above links. The DMC threads site is very confusing.

    Thank you,

    1. The site that this was on apparently changed or went away when DMC did some updates. If you send me an email (molliejohanson at gmail) I will look and see if I can find the pattern PDF in my old file archives.
