Joy to the World! The Lord is Come! And it's time to Craft a Song of Christmas!
I have many favorite Christmas songs, but when it comes to the traditionals, this might top the list. (I say that, but even as I type the words, others come to mind, and I can't choose just one!) What I love about this, however, is that it isn't really a Christmas song. This is a song about the coming Messiah. Yes, we celebrate His coming as a baby, but that's not the end.
Anyway, my sister especially enjoys the lyrics "Repeat the Sounding Joy", which I believe she came to love after we starting watching The Family Stone each December. Don't spoil the surprise, but she gets the embroidery above!
Anna and I love Joy to the World so much that this year, this song is the theme for our Christmas tree! It's not done yet, but pics will come when later in the month!
Emma stitched Heaven and Nature Sing, and even took it out into nature for the photos! (Can you tell she lives in Australia? Look at those flowers!) Thanks, Emma.
You can stitch and sing along too, plus one more from the last verse!

And as a Christmas gift to you, you'll notice that most of the patterns this month have a Creative Commons license on them. What does that mean? It means you are free to use these patterns to make things and sell them, as long as you say that the pattern is by Mollie Johanson. Enjoy!
