fabrics to have and to hold

Fabrics to Have and to Hold

Do I need more fabric? No, of course not. But it does make me smile when I some that is just right for a project or that will coordinate with another print I already have.

Honestly, sometimes it's just nice to have a bit of pretty fabric to have and to hold. To match up with other fabrics and make grand plans for quilts you will make one day in the far off land of "someday" or "eventually".

But I'm also happy to say that many of these are already becoming things. In fact, I'm surrounded by several of those things as I type.

Many are secret for now, and there are lots of things I'm in the midst of working on. So I'm just gonna leave these fabrics here for now, and once I get a few things checked off of my to-do list, I'll be back.

With any luck, next week...

  2. It's beautiful. I have a stash that I have found too hard to cut into but it makes me happy to look at it.

I have MANY fabrics that I cannot bring myself to cut because I love to stare at and admire. For several pieces, they are art their own regards, I have framed and they hang beautifully in my home.

  5. So pretty. Especially that purple flowered one. And I just put one of these fabrics into a Star Wars quilt for my son - the white one with the grey and black dashed lines on it. :)
