Autumn Pennant Picks

Can you believe that at the end of the week, it will officially be autumn in the Northern Hemisphere? This is my favorite season! I mean, I really, really love it. So this week I thought we might welcome fall by cheering it on! And what do you need to show support for this delightful time of year? Pennants!

I've been working on some fun pennant sorts of things, so expect to see lots of them. Starting with the printable variety, sized to fit on skewers. Make an autumn cake, add them in with some flowers, or even stick them into a pumpkin!

They fold over and are double-sided, making them twice as fun! I used some double-stick tape inside, and let it wrap around the skewer to hold it in place.

(By the way, the "GO NUTS!" pennant is a tribute to an old Saturday morning cartoon, called Pepper Ann. Does anyone remember that?)

Yay for fall and autumn and a new season coming!

    1. Thanks! The letters on these were all done by hand using a tablet on my computer.

  2. I too love, love fall.

Was thinking of you this weekend as my oldest son started Sunday school and the priest was blessing all the religious education program teachers and volunteers. The little guy came back all excited to be learning about Jesus So very cute! (He is the same one who was reading your blog the other day!)

  3. These are so cute, Mollie, thanks for sharing! Autumn is definitely my favorite season and there's a hint of it in the air today, even though I'm in the deep south. One of my neighbors teaches kindergarten and I was telling her about your projects and printables. Would it be okay for her to use these in her classroom?
    Thanks,
    Michele
