  1. I'm praying that the Lord will soften my atheist friend Debbie's heart so she'll want to know more about my faith. I would love to bring her to the Lord! Thankyou for such a beautiful and simple blog post.

  2. I should probably post a request too...even if not in the post!

Our church's Awana season is ending, and I'd like prayers for things to wrap up on a positive note!

Not well. She ended up running a 103 temp the rest of the day and cried and cried she couldn't receive communion with her friends and we had to cancel her party. She is still running a fever we just pray she feels well enough to celebrate at the school mass on Thurday. Thank you so much for asking.

  4. This feels so selfish after the others, but I have just applied for a new job that is the perfect intersection of "hours work for a SAHM" and "exactly what I've always wanted to do." It could lead to an entire career, once the kids are in school.

  5. I'm thanking God today for allowing the physicians to remove the entire tumor from my husband's ear this past week and that the cancer had not spread to his lymph nodes. We are so thankful and God has been so good to us. I am praying that the cancer does not return.

  6. Please pray for my friend Chris whose father is dying. It has been a long, hard journey and his death is imminent. He has already received the last sacraments so we are now praying for a peaceful death and comfort for those he leaves behind.

  7. I ask that you pray for all those who are dealing with tornadoes and the loss of their homes and loved ones. There are so many who have been affected and are going to be affected.

  8. My heart is breaking today, our 22 year old son left for Afganistan last night. No way to hug him goodbye, nothing but tears and words.
Another son that has been there and back lashes out in anger that his little Brother has to go to war, may they be safe, hearts be softened, stupidities be forgiven, and most of all return whole.

  15. Struggling to cope with and understand news we received this week. After a long struggle with infertility and countless infertility treatments we became pregnant! Unfortunately we lost our baby this week in early pregnancy to miscarriage. Our hearts break and we are fearful that we might never be mommy and daddy. Please pray for our babies we lost... for our hearts to heal and understand... and that we are able to become pregnant again and carry to term to meet our babies and hold them in our arms.

  16. Please pray for my friend Cindy who's having breast cancer surgery (and reconstruction) Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Kansas City. She's a (fellow) missionary, aged 51. We'll get to see her in a few days and, if all goes well, she'll be able to return to Argentina in August or September. Thanks for praying for her!

  19. I know it's Monday. Please pray for my son to find a teaching job for next year. He has been furloughed for the third summer in a row. He has three children and if he can't find a job they will have to sell their house and move.
