I've had posts all this week, dedicated to some of my favorite things. But one of those things hasn't had it's own post...instead, it's been more implied. It involves giving things to others. I love that! And I love when I get to be a person who helps give things away.
But today, I have a couple posts to share from one of my favorite blog things...

My absolute favorite thing in life (including my husband, he's the second!) are my pets. I have the cutest long haired weiner dog who just loves me so much and makes me laugh all day with her silly attitude. We also have 2 guinea pigs that I love to death! They are so cute and easy and all they wanna do is be petted and fed treats. They are the silliest little men, always trying to guilt me into giving them lettuce! (Surprisingly, my dog does this too...she loves some lettuce!) I never had pets growing up and I really think my life was incomplete without them, as stupid as that sounds!

ReplyDeleteOne of my most very favorite things is finishing up the very last stitch on a sewing project. Especially when it's a complete cosplay for myself or one of my kids. Oh! Oh! But then, you put on that brand new costume that took weeks (sometimes months!) to make and you find out you've made it perfectly and you've transformed completely into the character! Actually, I think that counts as two things? lol But they're kind of combined as you can't do one without the other. I get all fuzzy in my heart just thinking about it! XD

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things in life is having family gatherings now that everyone is spread out and their families have grown. It is hard to get us all together and we are so fortunate to still have 5 generations with us.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things right now is having conversations with my two-year-old son. He is so hilarious! Today, he said, "Mommy, I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was mommy. And a MONSTER! And crackers." He proceeded to tell me about how the monster growled at me because he wanted crackers, and we decided to share. One of my most favorite things is sitting in my Grandma's rocker, and slowly rocking my Granddaughter to sleep-- and the most heavenly feeling ever, is to just continue to rock her after she has nodded off-- listening to to gentle breathing and taking in that sweet baby breath--- nothing on Earth can compare to that!
