mechanical bird

This post started as one thing, changed, changed again, and is now something entirely different. It all has had to do with the mechanical nightingale that is in this month's story, and is featured on the July desktop.

Anyway, in my searches, I discovered the band, Mechanical Bird. I've not listened to everything yet (which means I can't vouch for the appropriateness of its content), but what I've heard, I like. You can listen to their album, Songs for Perchers, above (if you're on the blog...not in a reader) or on Bandcamp, and there are even a couple songs that you can download for free! Enjoy!
