encouraging caregivers

I haven't talked about it for a month, but work on Caregiver Kits has been happening in the background. You'll remember that at the end of May, sponsorship and shop profits went towards this amazing ministry, and they were matched by World Vision. Here's what that means:
boxes
These are supplies for putting together 100 kits! They were delivered to my house today, and tomorrow we're putting them all together. Wow! Thank you to everyone who helped!

Now I have another opportunity for you to help. With each kit and refill, a note is included. They are hand written, and are a means to encourage and bless the caregivers who receive these kits and go out to work with AIDS patients.
notes
They are short, but they mean so much to the caregivers. I'm told that they keep the notes with them, praying for those who wrote them!

Here's my question. Do you have anything that you would like to say and share with a caregiver? Would you like to encourage them along with me? Leave a comment, and I'll write them out and include your notes in the kits.

Thank you for being a blessing to many!

  6. Dear Caregiver,

    The work you provide is priceless and the hours you put in are countless. The work you do makes me feel encouraged to volunteer in my own community. I'd like to express my sincere gratitude for helping those in need. I hope that you continually find the strength to provide your efforts for this cause and encourage others to do the same.

    If I can stop one heart from breaking;
    I shall not live in vain.
    If I can ease one life the aching,
    or cool one pain,
    or help one fainting robin onto his nest again;
    I shall not live in vain.

    V You show up, the very moment we need you most,
    O You look for opportunities to expand our learning coast.
    L You are listening when soft words are being spoken.
    U You understand and work to keep our hearts from being broken.
    N Never is a word you remove from your mouth,
    T Let’s take this to another level-even if we’re located in the South.
    E Everything is possible-You help us to believe.
    E Even despite all odds-our talented students will highly achieve.
    R You rise to the occasion-that is without a doubt-
    Our Parent Volunteers-We can never do without!!!

    Matthew 5:14-16
    "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. "Nor do men light a lamp, and put it under the peck-measure, but on the lampstand; and it gives light to all who are in the house. "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
