Yesterday we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. We try and go every year to see their Christmas Around the World displays. As in, we've been doing this since I was very young. Here are a few peeks at the trees and decorations...
But I confess, the real reason that I was excited about going yesterday was because they have a special exhibit about Jim Henson. Truly, this was the highlight. I think I audibly gasped when I saw the actual Mahna Mahna puppets. You couldn't take photos inside the exhibit (boo!), but I got one outside...and I also made a few sketches (of Jim Henson sketches).
It was a really great time, and once again (perhaps still?), I'm so inspired. Seeing all that Jim Henson created and how he created it makes me want to work non-stop and at least try to make great things. I think that will work into a goal for the new year...
