Miss Katie Green is celebrating her first blog birthday! To celebrate, she has a fantastic giveaway going, so be sure and stop by. This also reminded me that I just had a blog birthday at the beginning of the month, and I entirely forgot. Oh well. We'll celebrate big next year.

Miss Katie Green has become a wonderful blog friend. Don't you love it when you connect with someone, especially so far away? We might even (fingers crossed!) get to meet up next month. I know that it's not possible to get to know everyone that you "meet" online, but when you have a chance to get to know someone better (assuming that you are being wise and safe), go for it.

LOVE your patterns .. they are simple and so adorable!! Most of my friends are online.. met thru swaps and groups.. that's what happens as a stay-at-home mom who would rather be home with my family with something to stitch in my hands :-) I actually met one recently and it was such fun.. we have plans to meet up more often for crafty get togethers :-)
