short weeks...

How do you feel about long weekends? I like them, and often seem to be surprised when they come along. But, they shorten the week, which creates its own issues. Know what I mean? Like, I've got a lot to get done in the next four days! So, here are a few highlights of things going on...

First off, thank you so much for all of your responses to my simple survey. They are so helpful, and if you haven't yet, please add your thoughts to that post. Bottom line is, I think that it's easy to compare yourself to others and others' blogs. But when I do that, I get off track. The things you seem to like match up well with what I like to do, so we're all good.



Details on my Beyond Fabric & Floss class will be here on Friday. Just trying to get a few things ready to photograph. (And I need to get some painting in!) But I will say, there are some great, GREAT things to share about this!

I'm working to get an update in the shop this week, but things are progressing slowly there. This may be one of those, two items now, two items a few days later kind of updates.

It is officially June, and the new desktop calendars are in the sidebar. Goodness knows when the embroidery pattern will come along, because I'm stitching like crazy on other things. Maybe it will just arrive without a stitched sample.



Above is a taste treat that I tried last night. Captain Crunch cereal on ice cream. Yum. Next time, I'm going for Crunchberries. (inspired by the Captain My Captain...I think I must visit.) These are the kinds of things that we must indulge ourselves in, yes?

Anything else I should say? I suppose not...this was a long post. Seriously, I'm tired just thinking about all that will be happening in the next, oh, 3 months.
