don't hate me for sharing this recipe...

best cheese ball ever

This is a little late for holiday entertaining, but trust me, you'll want to make it for just an ordinary evening of snacking. My dad and I especially love it, and it was the New Year's treat that I most looked forward to this year. I'm passing it along to you, because I love you all so much. Hopefully, you'll love me too...and not the opposite, after trying it!

Cranberry Chutney Cheese Ball

1 pkg Cream Cheese softened
2 TBS Sour Cream
2 tsp Curry Powder
1/2 cup Raisins (we use golden)
1/2 cup Dry Roasted Peanuts (we also like to use Cashews or Pecans)
1/2 cup Green Onions, chopped
Cranberry Chutney

Using a mixer, combine cream cheese, sour cream and curry powder. Stir
in raisins, nuts and onions. Shape into ball, cover and chill for at
least 1 hour. Spoon cranberry chutney over ball and serve with
crackers.

Yum! (in fact, I think I'll go find what's left of it in the fridge...)
