seriously, sun is needed...

Happy Hanukkah Menorah

Here is my finished Happy Hanukkah Menorah embroidery, which is kind of really making me love him. Did you know that I collect menorahs? I do. But this one will most likely not be in my collection, as my 4-year-old sister has claimed it. Actually, I think she wants me to make it into something for her. Like a little bag to hold gelt perhaps.

Anyway, my favorite part are the lazy daisy flames. Eek, I think I love this kind of thing way too much.

Oh, and the sun. It has been terribly gray around here lately. And cold. It does not make for good picture taking weather/light, which stinks because I have a lot of photos to take. Photos for the shop update. Which I'm officially scheduling for Thursday.

The update will include embroidery patterns, a collage sheet or two, printable tags, some fat quarters of fabric, several handmade brooches, and the Cookies for Santa fabric ornament kit that I think I keep gushing about.

Make sure you stop by on Wednesday for a special offer just for you, dear blog readers!

I'm having the same lighting woes!

And I too like Menorahs a lot. :) Will you be offering that pattern in your shop? Because I like it.

I think it was last week when you posted a picture of a kit on etsy for making shrinky dink jewelry. Well, I didn't buy the kit, but I did steal the idea and my 2 year old made me a gorgeous necklace. Thank you for the inspiration.
