stitch love party // buggy buddy sample giveaway

StitchLoveParty_GiveawayItems

Since today is kind of like a birthday party for Stitch Love, there should be gifts, right? I mean, free patterns are like the party favors, but I think we need an actual present or two!

So how about a couple of the projects I made for the book?! These buggy buddies would love to live at someone else's house (although I think they've enjoyed living here too). There are two prizes here, so there will be two lucky winners!

StitchLoveParty_GiveawayItems2

The first gift is this Lovely Ladybug Bag Tag. The front is all hand embroidered (by me!) and on the back you can slide in your contact information or a label for whatever you're tagging.

The second present is the Fluttery Butterfly pencil topper (with a matching orange pencil!). This is also stitched by me, and it has just a bit of flutteriness as you write. And yes, I did just make up a new word there.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Enter above with Rafflecopter. The giveaway ends next Wednesday, and it's open to all. Yes, that means international too. Good luck, friends!

And so that everyone gets a buggy buddy, although it's not truly a bug, download a pattern for a banana slug (by request!) below.

I like the ladybug tag and the Guinea pig plush. I am hoping a little piece of Mollie comes to stay at my house.

My own option entry is two questions... Mollie, what is your favorite stitch? Everyone else, what is your favorite stitch? Mine is the French knot.

    1. That's a hard question! For embroidery, back stitch will probably always be my favorite, but I also love chain stitch (it's not quite as versatile though). For general stitching, I LOVE running stitch!

I love the running stitch too for certain projects. I just used it to reattach the binding on a quilt my grandmother gave me. I can see why you love it.

  5. AAAHHHHH!!!! BANANA SLUUUGGG!!! You have no idea how happy you have made a little boy over here!! It's so perfect and squishable! A big HUGE thank you!!

My favorite projects were the Outback Animals with the little houses and stitching a friend into a pocket!!

Hi Bethanie! My favorite stitch is a blanket stitch. I know that might seem kind of boring, but there's something so relaxing about it! Every time I do a french knot, I hold my breath hoping it will come out ok. lol I'm not very good at them!
