printable ornaments for you...

So, I was at IKEA the other day and found these adorable ornaments. I don't officially have a need of them, but they got me thinking about the magnetic bookmarks that I made. They have a similar shape thing going on. And that got me thinking that I should make some printable ornaments.

And so I did. I went with a much more graphic style than I usually do, sort of a cross between my typical style and that of the IKEA ornaments.

It's St. Nicholas Day today, so of course there is Santa, and a few traditional Christmas designs. You can print on cardstock, trim them, punch a hole and hang them with a hook or ribbon. They also would make nice little tags.

Nativity Ornaments

But I couldn't stop there. So I also made a set that has Mary, Baby Jesus, Joseph, an Angel, and a Shepherd. Again, simple and graphic.

UPDATE: by special request, here are black and white versions that are ready for coloring!

I almost forgot...Another fun use for these would be to glue them to the ends of craft sticks to be little puppets. Your kids will love them!
Have fun printing!

  8. So cute! I already printed out your Christmas ornaments from last year on your family's blog and have those on my tree. Everyone who comes in the house says they are adorable. I guess I will have to add these to the tree too.

  14. I was just in a production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" and your nativity printables were the best to use as small mementos for all the actors, especially the children who actually performed the Christmas pageant. I printed many sets of them and wrote the name of the show and the date on the backs, laminated and put a ribbon through the top of each. They were perfect and the kids were happy with them. I gave a set of the nativity mounted on a corrugated paper and the director thanked me for her little "bandaid" nativity! Thanks for sharing your talent!
