I try to combine those two things as much as possible, so a lot of what I make involves embroidery, hand sewing, and bringing ideas to life. Often this kind of making takes time, and while I do try to keep a certain pace to get things done, I enjoy being able to savor the process.
It is my sincere belief that the work I do is a gift from God. He made me for this, and it's an honor to have stitching as a part of my daily life. It's a holy calling.
In addition to being a blogger and Etsy seller, I'm also the author of Stitch Love: Sweet Creatures Big & Small, and I regularly contribute to other Lark Crafts titles, as well as to Mollie Makes and Australian Homespun.
When I'm not creating for Wild Olive, I'm crafting posts for About.com, Handmade Charlotte, and Hello Bee.
