I've written about some of the fun things that I've been making lately, and above are some totes that I've been creating. I'm excited because a bunch of my stuff is now officially being sold at a small craft fair for staff at my part time job. Items include: totes, buttons, stationery, gift tags, and more. It's funny, you work on these things, and when it comes time to sell them, it's actually a little sad! To all those who buy goodies, have fun and know that each piece is truly made with love!

my crazy family...
Thanksgiving is officially over, but I can't skip a final thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving: my family. Sure we make a crazy bunch, but I like that. It's something I'm thankful for. And yes, we spend a lot of time together, I like that too. (We actually like each other most of the time!) But most of all, I'm thankful that I'm loved and accepted, and encouraged to be who I am. (Even if that means that I'm stuck hear spending all my time with this crazy family of mine!) Thanks Mom, Dad, Anna, Anders, PJ, Max and Grace!
free music...
Around Thanksgiving and Christmas we often talk about the importance of generosity. In fact, that was the topic of the lesson in Sunday School yesterday, and it's a fun one to talk about with kids. They're more honest than adults, but also more eager to please. But I'm getting off topic...
I bring up generosity, because I'm thankful for folks who are generous, such as Derek Webb. He's offering his new album as a free download. That's right, absolutely free. All he asks is that you pass the word along. I wasn't familiar with Derek Webb, so when I heard this, I was interested, but not sure that I would actually want to listen. But let me tell ya, it's good stuff! So I now generously share with you the free music. Just head to freederekwebb.com, then generously pass this on to others!

Doin' what I love...
You know, it isn't real often that you get to do what you love, and I really love graphic design. I'm thankful for graphic design, and the privilege of doing what I love. I think it's the combination of creating something, and helping someone to say something that makes it a good fit for me. Veer.com has a t-shirt that says "I draw pictures all day." While I don't just draw pictures all day, the message that shirt conveys is the same way I feel. I get to do something I love.
i had to go and jinx it...
This is what I get for saying that I've been busy creating and that I would continue to post about it. That's right, I've not only been not posting about it, but I've fallen out of continual creating! Oh well...
But while I'm on a jinxing roll, I think that it's November, and I should write this month about things that I'm thankful for. (Just watch...everything I'm thankful for will now suddenly disappear.)
Today, to get things started, I'm thankful for friends. New friends...I'm glad that I've met you and gotten to know you! Friends from the past...It's always a nice surprise to hear from you! And friends who always seem to be there...I hope that I can always be there for you.
Wow. That got a bit schmaltzy there.
