putting a hex on you

The more I work with hexagons, the more I want to work with hexagons. And from what I've heard, I'm not the only one. In fact, I've heard from several folks that they are hooked on hexies and are looking for how to use them. Look no further, because what was going to be one post about joining these beauties and putting them to work is now looking like a week of hexagon patterns, projects and printables.

To start out, I encourage you to check out these Pinterest boards (they are my favorites) all about hexies. You can find even more by simply searching for "hexagons" on Pinterest.

Do you have any favorite hexagon links? Please share!

  1. Good Morning! I have a wonderful blog friend who has started designing "pieced hexigons". She does sell the patterns and I love them. Her name is Tonya and she has a blog called Hillbilly Handiworks (go to http://hillbillyhandiworks.blogspot.com/ ).

    1. What a great site! I spotted several designs that I'll need to try out. Thanks for sharing!

    You ALWAYS inspire me Mollie!!

  3. Thanks for sharing! Oh, I do think this is an addiction. We are going on a two month RV trip this summer, and these are the perfect carry along projects. Thanks for all the links. The towel is great, but please don't use it. It is two darn cute to get spaghetti stains on it! :)

These remind me of popcorn/yo-yos. I did a post on them on my site: http://countrymousebakes.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/pop-pop-popcorn/
I had plans to make a quilt out of them but all I've managed so far are Christmas tree garlands.

  5. Am on Pinterest overload but what fun, thanks so much!!
