Back to school time already? How can it be? My family home schools and we don't have an official schedule for starting and stopping and so on, so this time of year always sneaks up on me. It could be partially because I've been running at full steam all summer, and even forgot about this particular printable that I have today!
These letter circles were put together at the beginning of summer, with the intension of sharing them for summer letter practice. Oops! Now they're officially back-to-school letters, mmmmkay?

There are so many ways to use these, but first, here's how I used mine:
The pages of letters are printed on card stock. I went ahead and made two of each set, so that we could use them for more words.
Next, I laminated the pages and cut out the circles.
On the back of each letter, I added magnet strips. The strips are relatively large, but I want to avoid frustration of these sliding down the fridge when you want them to stay in place!
Magnets are pretty straightforward, but here are some other ways you might use these:
-Scrapbooks
-Memory
-Other matching games
-Card making
-Mini banner
-Cupcake picks
-More crafting
-and on, and on...
The upper and lowercase letters have matching colors, and all of the vowels (and only the vowels) are yellow. Oh, and an added benefit of those little faces? They show which direction is up on these letters!

There are both PDF and PNG files so you can use them digitally, or printed. All I ask is that you only use them for personal projects.
I'm sure you have more ideas for using these letter circles...please share!

ReplyDeleteSo glad I bought that laminator on sale before Christmas! And that I'd pinned these so I could find them again! Thanks so much for sharing. My 5 year old is still a little sketchy on some of his letters, so these should help engage him. :D
