Quite Contrary

There was a time when I released a new pattern set to my shop every month. Sometimes more than one each month! Lately they just take me longer to put together, but maybe one of these days I'll get a burst of pattern-making energy. What does get the patterns done is working with someone who keeps you accountable. Someone who gets as excited about these things as you do, so you keep each other going!

That happened when Allegory contacted me about working together on a Quite Contrary project. She had an idea for a quilt and thought that embroidery would make a great addition. So...she made the quilt pattern and I made the embroidery designs! All together, they set the stage for Mary and her garden of interesting things.

I had so much fun working on this with A Thousand Needles, and hope we can create another project like this soon!

Find the embroidery designs in my shop, and read more about the quilt on Allegory's blog.
