25 crafts of christmas // wiggle eyes

When I draw inanimate objects or animals or people, the eyes make all the difference. I just started trying out "safety eyes" when making softies, and I'm loving them for the character they can give a creation. And although I haven't used them on a regular basis, I find that wiggle eyes have the same effect.

Don't believe me? Case in point:

The addition of wiggle eyes to Christmas cards is sure to bring lots of giggles to your house. Especially when you put them onto the photo cards that your family and friends send you and display for all. (Yes, I tried it...but thought it wouldn't be very respectful to show them here...trust me though...it was hilarious!)

If you're extra playful, you might even consider adding these googly eyes to some of the cards you're sending!

It's quick, it's silly, it's crafty fun for the whole family! I know this is true, because today's post was all my dad's idea...

  2. Googly eyes are so fun!
I've found sticking them to random objects massively improves even mundane things - check out this blog post from a few years ago

  3. A *giggly* idea for sure! It worked for me-- I giggled!

I take old Christmas cards and turn them into gift tags, too. This idea would be adorable on gift tags, too!

    Happy highways,
