calendar: november's basket of giving

Every time that I think that time is passing at a normal pace, a new month shows up to prove me wrong. Seriously, November? Where did you come from?

This month, I'm focusing on a theme of giving, and while I love the theme, it proves difficult to draw without going right to a present with a bow. Since this is still November I wanted to avoid that. I'm good with using this month to prepare for December, it's not quite present time. What could you give in the autumn season? How about a basket of fruit!

At Thanksgiving, you see cornucopias or horns of plenty, and that inspired me, but I went for something between the holiday icon and a semi-cheesy fruit basket. Think housewarming, we're glad you're our neighbor, enjoy something just because. Think giving.

I'll be talking about this a lot more this month, including some ways for you to create gifts, buy gifts, and more importantly...give to others. For now, add this wallpaper to your computer, phone or tablet and start thinking about a month of giving.

To use the iPhone and iPad versions, click the link for the wallpaper you want. When it opens, touch and hold the image until it pops up with the option to save. After you've saved the image, go to your settings, choose wallpaper, then find the image you've just saved.

Or, if you would like to use these acorns (my sister said that a fruit basket needed some mixed nuts, but you get acorns cuz they're cute!) past November, in future years, or as a home screen, I've also made some without the calendar part!

Oh, and take a look! I finished my hoop from yesterday! I went for a smaller size than suggested, and I think it's going to be just right hanging in my workspace.
