summer stitching club starts soon

Laying out the pieces!

Just a quick reminder that the Summer Stitching Club starts on Monday. Yay! I'm super duper excited. You can tell because I said "super duper" and I don't usually use strong language like that.

Anyway, cost for membership is still just $5.00, but it will go up to $8.00 on Monday. If you've been thinking about joining so you can stitch some sweet summer embroideries, assemble some hexagons, and maybe even make your very first mini quilt project, now's the time!

I gotta tell you, I've been amazed by the response, and so very thankful for every one of you who has already joined. It's lovely to know that so many of you are as super duper excited as I am. (See? There it is again!)

You can find more information on the Summer Stitching Club page, sign up below, or in my Etsy shop.

Just a note: The cost for the 2013 Summer Stitching Club is now $8.00. And although the club is getting started, whenever you join, you'll receive the complete collection of patterns and instructions.

  1. Yes, super duper excited is exactly right! I've had my little hexagons cut out and ready to go and my background fabric ready for embroidery - so impatient. :-)

  4. I'm getting my fabric and picking my floss tomorrow. I'm excited to get started!

Are you going to have a Flickr group or some other way for us to share our work with each other?

    1. We'll use the main Wild Olive Flickr group (http://www.flickr.com/groups/wildolive/), plus if folks want to share on Instagram, Twitter, etc, you can tag things with #SummerStitchingClub (It's a little long, but no one else is using it!)

  5. Super Duper is the perfect description for how I feel about the stitch along. I will be stitching and knitting little hexagons all summer!

  7. I'm very excited about being part of the Summer Stitching Club. Being in the southern hemisphere, however, means that I'll be stitching through winter. :)

    1. I gotta tell you, I wrestled with whether or not to make this club summer themed (both in title and embroidery designs). Even though it's summer here (and for most of the stitchers) the project will be done as summer ends.

So...for us, we'll have this finished project with the memories of summer that we can use next year. And for you and some others, you'll have a nice head start, and only need to wait a couple months to put it to use!

I would like to sign up in the Summer Stitching Club, but I also want to purchase a few patterns from your shop. Do the two shopping carts merge together? Or do I need to make two separate purchases? Thanks.

    1. Thank you so much! For buying additional patterns, don't use the link above. Instead, go to my Etsy shop, you'll be able to make one purchase with all the items you want. http://wildolive.etsy.com

  11. I'm so excited about this. Haven't had time to get anything ready for it, but I have big plans for Wednesday after my in-laws depart. Hopefully I know what I'm doing by the time this wraps up! :)
