the story of: who we would imitate

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this month's story has a real nightingale, and an imitation one. The real deal is usually (always?) better, and I highly recommend being yourself. But there are some people who we strive to be more like, because they help make us better.

With that in mind, I asked my friends and sponsors this question: "If you were going to imitate someone, who would it be?" Here's what they said:

How about you? Who would you want to imitate?

  1. I suppose I should answer this too! Like several of my sponsors, Jesus is the one I most want to be like. If I could catch just a little of His love and patience, I'd be doing good!

From a creative side, I'd like to be like Something's Hiding in Here.

  2. From a crafty side I would like most to be like my Grandmother she was always sewing and making things to sell at craft shows.
From all other perspectives I want to imitate no one and just live my own truth, what ever Jesus has planned out for me.

  6. Ha! Maggie, you could have Heidi Klum's body and still be like Jesus. Hotness and holiness aren't mutually exclusive!
