painted tea set giveaway

giveaway!
When I was little, I had a Fisher Price tea set. It was blue and yellow, and looked like this. I loved it. We have all kinds of tea sets around our house these days, but everyone has their favorite. Some are real, some are just for fun. But my point is, a tea set is something that every girl should have. And maybe not just girls, because my brother has one that he loves too...

When it comes to play sets, there's something really charming about a tin tea set. There are vintage sets, and new sets, and my mom recently found this one:
Paint a Tea Set!
She brought it home, and I got all excited, because I was thinking of you and this tea party! So I made her go and get a second set to share. (Thanks, Mom!)

Painting this was a little different than I expected, as the paint is rather thin. But I used what they provided, because there's a whole process. It was so much fun to make!
Wild Olive Tea Set

Tea cups with faces! It's the Wild Olive way!

Wild Olive Tea Set
So here's the deal. One lucky reader is going to win a tin tea set! The winner will get to choose between a plain set, ready to be painted...or...the painted set that I've decorated. (You won't hurt my feelings if you choose the blank one!)

To enter, leave a comment telling me if you take anything in your tea (no milk or sugar for me!), and a way for me to contact you.

BONUS ENTRY: Leave a second comment if you follow me on BlogLovin'!

The giveaway will remain open until Saturday, May 28 at Noon CST, when I'll choose a random winner.

If you don't win, you can buy the paintable set on Amazon. It's really so sweet!

Comments are now closed...thank you so much for the amazing response!

What I take depends on the flavor. Honey is great in Blood Orange tea, while Almond Rooibos easily becomes dessert with some cream and sugar.

P.S. I love the painted set.

  3. Very cute, I do love the "Wild Olive way" of faces. A little bit of milk and sugar in my black teas, but only honey or agave in anything herbal.

  4. I'd love to win the tea set for my nieces ages 1 and 3.

What I drink in my tea depends on the tea, and how I'm feeling. I'm normally a milk and sugar person; however, if I'm feeling like a cold is coming on, I'll do lemon and honey. And, of course, if it's a 'flavored' tea, I tend to drink it 'black/plain'.

  5. I take my tea with honey. Sometimes sugar, and occasionally milk.

Depends on the tea! If it's black, take it with milk and sugar. If it's green, herbal or red, I take it with nothing in it!

  58. I'm not really a tea person. (or coffee for that matter.) I do drink chai, but I'm not terribly picky about it. When I make it at home, I use skim milk, but when I go to the coffee shop and they have fancy flavors (raspberry Yumm!) they use water and it tastes just fine.
