the first de-stash winner...and the next giveaway...

Wow! I'm really amazed at how many people entered the first de-stash giveaway! Thank you! After removing the duplicate comments, there were 62 entries. Now...drumroll please...

Counting from the top down to comment #22, RubyJones is the winner! She chose fabric as her fave supply. Yeah, I think there are a lot of us who find joy in fabric...

RubyJones, send your mailing address to molliejohanson [at] gmail [dot] com, and I'll mail prizes out at the end of the week!

Well, that was the first bundle of goodies, and based on the response to it, I've been going through more things to plus these up. Ready for the next giveaway?

Enter for the second bundle by commenting here with your name, and a supply that you have so much of that you'll never use it all. Winner to be chosen tomorrow!

And don't miss the fun recycled file folder tutorial below!

I think my answer to this question is the same as my answer to the first... fabric :)

i will never run out, because i can't stop myself from buying more. :)

  7. This isn't really a supply, but I'd have to say I have more craft/sewing books than I know what to do with. I'll never be able to finish all these projects!

  8. I have a never-ending supply of colorful cardstock paper. The first job I ever had was a clerk at a scrapbook store. I stocked up heavily and haven't rid myself of it yet!

  9. For me it would have to be buttons...I have so many pretty ones that I don't want to use them :)

  10. I have more scrapbook paper than I could ever use in 3 lifetimes!

  12. I have to many buttons that I don't want to use because I want to keep them... An I love collecting them. I also have a lot of stickers I haven't used.

  13. Beads!! Tons and TONS of them. It's my compulsion to buy them, I guess...but I can't help it, they're sooo pretty! =)

  14. Felt or yarn, definitely! Felt is so cheap, and yarn is so often on sale, so I just buy and buy and buy...but oh well! Both stack up nicely and come in such pretty colors!

  15. I don't have such a supply because I really limit myself on using what I do have and not buying supplies randomly!

  16. I would have to say that I probalbly have to much material. I use it to back ornaments that I have cross stitched and such. I just can't help picking up more when I see something I like.

  17. Yarn! I have a TON of yarn ;)

  18. Congratulations, RubyJones!

  19. My answer to my favorite supply is yarn, and to the supply I have too much of- yarn! I love buying yarn, but I can't finish projects fast enough to use it all! Especially when it's on sale I feel I need to buy it just in case...

  20. Vintage seam binding. I seriously need to sell some because it is ridiculous how many rolls I own.

  21. I have this terrible mission to acquire every single DMC floss option and am now up to 4 boxes of wrapped bobbins. The problem with this venture is that I hardly ever vary the colors I use and end up sticking to the same floss palate. I guess I just like seeing all of the colors laid out in pretty rows :)

  22. DMC embroidery floss, hands down. My floss wheel is completely full, to the point that I can hardly move the little bags around to retrieve the ones I need.

Although ... I also have a surplus of stationary, which is another little thing I covet.

  23. The one supply that I have that I will never use all of has got to be crochet thread ... hands down! I went through a thread crochet phase a few summers ago, and even sold thread crochet embellishments on eBay for a while, and designed around 25 thread crochet patterns .... suffice to say I amassed a huge stash of crochet thread because I had to have every color! I easily have 50+ balls of crochet thread! I never have to buy another ball of crochet thread ever again though, that is for sure!

  24. I have so, so, so much embroidery floss. My Mom gave me all of her old floss, now I have buckets full just taking up space in my room.

  25. hmm... i think little scraps of this and that. i have so many little pieces of fabric, thread, paper, junk mail, etc. etc. i don't like wasting things so i end up keeping so much stuff - i'm always like "oh i'll need this" or "ooh, i can make something with that" :)

  35. I have way too much paper! I will never use it all in my lifetime. I am getting up there in random craft supplies too :)

  36. Paper! Basic Grey, to be specific. I will never use it up because I hoard it with a zeal not unlike that weird neighbor with 40 cats and every single newspaper they have received since they first got their subscription in '58.

Basic Grey. It's just too pretty to use.

  37. I came across an embroidery floss/wool stash in a charity shop a while back and felt obliged to buy it all. Unfortunately the lady/chap who donated it was obviously rather keen on stitching trees, as it is nearly all green, brown and yellows. Even if I stitch a leaf a day for the next 20 years I don't think I would finish the stash!

  38. Felt. I've bought so much of it that now I almost hate it!

  39. Scrapbook paper (like everyone else) and cross-stitch books. I have them organized but I have a bookcase full (not just a shelf, a bookcase!). But crafting is my hobby and it doesn't hurt anyone. Thanks Mollie, I love your blog!!

  40. I have too much embroidory thread... I just love embroidoring things for new-born babies, especially their initials on plain white burping-cloths! =)
Crossing my fingers so I can win!
    Good luck to all...
    Love (from Portugal),
